Frogging Okeechobee for big Bass

Mike and Spike Austin and I really bust big bass with a Spro pop 60 frog on Lake Okeechobee. Spike’s 8 pounder and his 6 1/4 pounder helped a bunch with the 30 pounds for 5 fish stringer we ended up with. we were targeting the thicker clumps of joint grass and working the frog real slow with heavy 65# casting tackle.The problem was that we lost more big bass than we caught! Wow, what a great day!
