All the work you do; gathering bait, setting lines and then throwing good fish back. Very good shows. You do not make your living by subsistence fishing. I am glad YouTube does it for you. I especially love the marine life you highlite.

It's hardly worth all that time and effort for so few fish. Your long lines aren't very productive, when I used to go longlining of the southern coast of England we got nearly a fish a hook, mainly fatties. To avoid crabs I always had a cork near the hook. Better luck next time, a shame that bass are out of season isn't it?

Your long line endeavors have been spectacularly unsuccessful so far and when you actually catch a few perfectly good eating fish you throw them back because they were the wrong species of which you caught none, well done. It just as well you can help support your family from your channel, if it was fishing alone you'd be seeking handouts.
Smash why don’t you give the bass to some lap,s or families that are struggling to pay for food in these hard times ,rather than just throwing them back. Just a thought mate

I like these videos of long line fishing. Like you, I eagerly await seeing what comes up. I would have kept the two large bass, not my top favorite fish, but I still like their taste. And you have something for dinner and not a wasted day or effort.

I thought the bass were good to eat? I also realize that it is fun just to fish etc. We did shark long lines wtih no intention of "eating" or keeping them. Just the adventure.P.S., just to give you a hint, we used wire or small chain leader and actually had the heavy hook straitened or the chain gone on pickup. "I thought we needed a bigger boat" as they say.

Sea bass are beautiful eating fish,but if ya don’t need it then throw it back,if you catch a 3lb bass and throw it back, in a few year or so it’ll be a 4,5 even 6lb pounder,🤔don’t keep fish just for the sake of it,give it back wen ya don’t need it,IF you catch it this time then there is always a chance you’ll catch summit bigger and better next time,take wot ya need not wot ya can 🫶🏻👍🏻
