  1. I honestly use braid to a long monofilament leader for this rig setup. With a elaztech plastics. I can fish this rig down to 30 ft and have the bait fall or rise up to 15 ft off the bottom

  2. Definitely going to try this method here in GA. Any recommendations for a slow sinking or floating plastic fluke (if it matters), preferably in a baby bass or ghost shad color? Thanks!!!

  3. I absolutely love your videos!! I lived in East Tennessee for 30 years and fished Douglas and Cherokee lakes. I wish I had known about this rig then. I know about it now though, thanks to you! Appreciate all you do for us weekend fishermen!! Keep you line tight!!!!

  4. Oh god everybody and their brother is going to be fishing this! I swear a man can’t do anything without a bunch of wannabes coming along, you been watching Ben! Uh huh! 😂

  5. Thanks for the info Hank. I don’t peg my weight on Texas rig but that weight looks like it will slide further than a cone style weight. I will try some of those and a little heavier Thank you

  6. Would like to see what this rig looks like in deeper water I am not convinced it is nothing more than a glorified Texas rig, although with that weight it should fall straight down.

  7. I have heard of this technique Hank, but have never fished it yet. Thanks for the demo and showing us how its done. I will be trying this technique next time I am out on the water.
