Yo BG! Hermano what's your recommendation for the best floating lures for this rig. Gave it a shot but can't seem to keep it up
I honestly use braid to a long monofilament leader for this rig setup. With a elaztech plastics. I can fish this rig down to 30 ft and have the bait fall or rise up to 15 ft off the bottom
If you did throw it down at least it isn’t a whole spool of 50lb mono.

K9 line floats. It doesn’t sink like fluoro.

Would like to see what this rig looks like in deeper water I am not convinced it is nothing more than a glorified Texas rig, although with that weight it should fall straight down.
I have heard of this technique Hank, but have never fished it yet. Thanks for the demo and showing us how its done. I will be trying this technique next time I am out on the water.
