  1. This is how my son caught his first bass. Reeling in a bluegill and a Bass swallowed it at the last minute. By the way….To hell with bread. Bluegills LOVE hotdogs! No joke. small pieces of frozen hotdogs on the hook ..instant bluegill hook. Also caught a sh*tload of bass with hotdogs also.

  2. Definitely do it again. I feel almost the same about live vs artificial baits. I think the small ones are prone to hit the live ones and I have a way bigger chance off landing a big bass on artificial baits. I think it’s because you can instantly out say a jig in the right spot vs big bass happen wonder into the right spot.

  3. I think it’s awesome to get back to “your roots” fishing every once in a while. I also love that you show the reality of bass fishing…that sometimes you don’t find Bertha or any of her little friends!

  4. On somedays, catching the bluegills is so much fun, I forget all about the bass rod. Then I have to break out the airiator or let them go to keep them alive until later/tomorrow. 😋😎

  5. Hell yea I wanna see it again making me want to try it at our pond today instead of my regular baits or swimbaits crank or my favorite whopper plopper but like u I def don’t have faith in live baits haven’t used that since I was a lil kid now if I’m cat fishing oh most def believe in it but not for bass

  6. 1. Bluegill fishing is too fun. I do it for catfish bait.
    2. I never catch bass on live bluegill while catfishing
    3. I have caught bass free lining hills. I would flip them into cover weightless and they would get hammered. However the gar like them too. 😀
    4. Awesome channel new sub

  7. Just a bad day of fishing bluegills should have work we have a video up right now of a bass pond where the Bass eat and love hot dogs has anyone ever heard of that ? Anyway cool video yak 👍💯
