Folsom Lake Bass Fishing Report – February 8, 2026
Folsom Lake Bass Fishing Report for February 8, 2026
Folsom Lake continues to fish phenomenal for this time of year. I was on the water from 7:30AM to 1:00PM. Launching out of Granite Bay and fishing the North arm of the lake. The water temperature was around 53 degrees and the ambient air temperature was 45 – 66 degrees on a blue bird winter day. The bite window was early and I caught 8 spotted bass pretty quickly mid strolling and using a dice style bait. After that it died down for the rest of the day but I did catch a 4.8lb spotted bass late in the day before coming. Overall, the lake is fishing great and the Stage 1 ramp at Granite Bay is in the water with one dock in the water as well. Golden mussel restrictions are still in place so make sure you are decontaminated and receive a green tag in order to get in the lake. Good luck out there!!
