Whenever I fly fish for trout I do it correctly but not gonna lie for bass in clear, still water on bright summer days, I'll cheat and just tie on a bare hook and throw on a night crawler had some fun times with that. But by far the most fun way to catch em is le frog.
When sight fishing I've found fly fishing much more effective than bass lures because they drop at a slower rate
This was filmed at Davis Lake Central Oregon, although this is a great vid the bass fishing is not the same and has had plenty of bass taken out and transplanted to places like Eugene etc…No big secret folks , It's for all to share Fly fishing only !!

If this is really in Montana, there's only one or two places I think this could be. It's got tell-tale forest fire scars but bass in Montana don't grow this big because it's winter for 19 months out of the year. I think the Missoula county plate is a red herring and this is really in Oregon….
My son wants to watch largemouth fly fishing and this is the go to video for us. Amazing quality! I would bet strip set would be the way to go when fishing poppers, what am I missing?
