Join along as I catch my first largemouth bass on a fly! Fly fishing for largemouth bass is new to me as I have always used a spinning rod, but I will most defiently be doing this again! It was sooooo much fun! I also attempted to sight in my bow, however we experienced a few mishaps along the way (hence the archery fail reference). Thanks for watching!

This rod has VERY little whip action. Does not cast jigs very far. It is a great rod. Everything lined up and beautiful to look at, but it is way too stiff. Just don't know what it's great for.
7:28 that is a wooly bugger. One of the most versatile flies for any season or fish. Also one of the easiest to tie.
I'm with the other guy your arrows are making contact but it could be hitting the cables also or rest not getting out of the way fast enough or could be hitting the rest cage
That’s a “wooly bugger”
Nice to see someone catching bass on a fly rod! Your streamer fly is a wooly bugger.
Wooly Bugger. Use that Mouse Fly at last light.
Wooly bugger no doubt

I only thought you could do fly fishing for trout and that's it.
I didn't know you can fly fish for other species too.
Wooly bugger. Silly
Woolly booger
I’d say it’s just a woolly bugger. Pretty cool! Was those weighted?
Wooly bugger
My daughter's name is Allison, she's only 5, but loves to go fishing, and tags along when I bring the setters out.

Woolley Booger
The fly looks like a
woollybugger
You snapped the fly off with the cast. 😉 The knot didn't fail, the line did. Bass are predatory so are pretty keen on anythign that moves a lot like a streamer or the mice (which are also streamers). Cannot believe you're wearing a sweater in August! Hahaha (just saw the line break on the large bass…need heavier line.)
Woolly bugger
that is a rust woolly buger
