This is my adventure on Conway Lake, New Hampshire testing out the Condor Fly for bass.

Jim Hickey’s Condor Fly is a large damsel-style pattern originally tied to imitate giant brown trout in Patagonia, Chile, but proven effective for trout, bass, and panfish in many waters.

Fly fishing guide Jim Hickey created the Condor Fly after observing large brown trout in Patagonia striking at the surface. He tied it to mimic the local fly, then tested it on his native Virginia rivers (Shenandoah and James) and found it highly effective.
