Floating Cattail Bogs – How I Fish Undercuts for Largemouth Bass
If you have cattails that are floating in spots, the fish will hide under them and present a great opportunity to get up close and personal while fishing them. The biggest key I’ve found when fishing this pattern is to pitch your bait so it’s hanging over the edge of some bog so you can lift up and down on your fishing rod and give the bait a yo yo effect. This keeps the bait in place, only moving vertical, and gives the fish plenty of time to see it and come out and grab it!
