Flipping and Pitching GRASS for BIG BASS + (Texas Rigs & Snell Knots)

Want to be successful flipping & pitching soft plastics in the grass to catch bass? Basically, take your time and analyze the areas you’re fishing. Consider factors like depth and how/when the fish are biting the lure. Use lighter weights if they’re hitting on the fall, and heavier weights if they’re deeper or less active. Adjust your setups based on what the fish are responding to each day, including hook size and line type. The MLF bass fishing pro likes to have about 4 rods and reels set up with different weights and baits. Grae Buck also uses different hooks, he likes Hayabusa hooks with two different wire gauges that prevent hook flexing. Learn how to tie a Snell Knot, a super unique knot for flipping and pitching! Buck discusses his choices for line types and sizes for different types of grass like hydrilla, coon tail, milfoil, eel grass, etc. Remember, quality tackle matters for consistent success!
