There is a lot of hype around Koster dam due to it’s monster size bass that are swimming around.
The best thing is that I have an South African Angler to show me a few things about this dam to catch more bass.
Koster Dam is a dam that has been off the radar for quiet some time due to the dam being very dry. Over the years where the water level of koster slowly rising the bass started thriving and the bait fish population started growing as the dam filled up. There has been many stories around people going out for the day and catching there Personal Best at this bass fishing venue.
Nether the less this dam has some giant bass swimming around but it doesn’t mean this dam a easy venue to catch bass. The bass population isn’t as big as any other dam that south africa can offer us and this make Koster Dam a tricky venue to catch bass. The quality on the other hand is what really matters at Koster Dam. Every bass you catch is fat and very health and this makes Koster Dam very special.
Koster Dam isn’t a big venue which makes it really nice to go searching for those bigger bass. Other dams in South Africa are 10 times bigger and this makes it tricky to find bass in those bigger venues around South Africa.

Nice… Seems like a dark chatterbait… Any specific reason for the colour? Do the same rules apply as it does with soft plastics?
Lekka guys! Some Chunks!
