Today I am fishing another $1.00 fishing lure that I got on clearance at Walmart, a Zoom Lizard. You can’t beat $1 for nine soft plastic lures. I am fishing the lizard on my $15 dollar Lew’s combo that also came from Walmart. I have it rigged on a weedless Eagle Claw hook and I am focusing on fishing the weeds at a few local parks. I do manage to get one largemouth bass out of the shallow grass. But not too long after that, the downpour starts. The rain gets worse as I try to wait it out and I finally head back to the car defeated and soaked. I was happy to get the one bass though. That’s one more on the $15 combo. This is also more proof that you can catch fish on cheap lures, even $1.00 clearance fishing lures from Walmart.

Love your video's bro. I've been on a 6,000 acre lake and had it pour rain on me, in the winter : ) I was a solid 10 minute ride to the ramp, plus putting the boat on the trailer. That's what makes fishing fun Los Angeles

Dude those lizards in green pumpkin Texas rigged are absolutely fire! I caught 4 bass today, one on the first cast, and another was a 6-7 pounder! She was definitely my PB!

Just bought a pkg of these same black colored lures, hope they work. The other day I bought pumpkin colored ones with red tails. Tried them once for about an hour or so and had only one bite.
I was looking on Walmart @ these lures and wonder how one fishes with it 🤔. Searched and sure enough ya vid pops up and I’m like “ alright!!! He’s got a vid!!!! “ lol

Wow, had a gift card to a local tackle shop. Paid 7 bucks for them lizards. I guess I'm supporting a local tackle shop during these times of COVID, but still A DOLLAR! Dang. That hurts a little. Anyways, was looking for a video where these black chartreuse lizards work and according to your video they work. Always enjoyed your videos and appreciate the content.

Another brand that I found that makes cheap plastic baits that seem to be decent quality is Big Bites Baits…Seems like I can often find them cheap or on sale and their baits are good quality and not super expensive. All the same shape as Zoom, yum, etc
I tried a weightless Zoom lizard today and got something – I never saw it before it dropped the bait.
I think I needed some of those hooks.
