This was my first trip to Lake Pointsett, outside of Cocoa Beach, Florida. This lake had a massive fish kill in 2022, but in spite of being called “the worst lake in the country” by a few anglers, it is alive and well. All my fish were caught on either a Riot Baits Cyclone; Riot Baits Vigilante or a prototype worm we are calling the Velocity worm which will debut in 2026.
