A fun day of topwater action kayak fishing for angry river smallmouth bass with Walmart’s budget version of a Whopper Plopper, the Ozark Trail topwater prop bait! Will it catch fish like the Whopper Plopper does?

I just watched your videos for the first time as they came through my feed. It’s like watching Roland Martin fishing back when I was a kid mixed with a little Bob Ross, just mix in some “happy clouds” and your it man. Awesome content.
bro is really the Bob Ross of fisihing
the first five seconds off this video makes you the best in the world💪😂Please take me fishing with you🤙
New to fishing, had two fish come off a frog and a popper recently, thought I was doing something wrong… Good to see that it happens to you sometimes too! Hopefully the next ones that strike stay on!!
Honestly some of the Ozark Trail lures ain’t half bad. I keep the frogs and a few extra crank and jerk baits on hand just in case. Their smaller rooster tail and spoon baits are really sick tbh.
Quite enjoyed the savage gear versions myself, bit more expensive and have the usual savage gear issues with the semi flexible parts becoming brittle when cold but since im in the uk theyre much easier to get and hold up against the pike
I got a couple of those and put Mustad triple grips on them and they worked alot like the Berkley Choppo
I swear you sound like the Bob Ross of the fishing world😂.
What time of day was this filmed? These guys don't like to hit like this at mid morning
I still have a hobo tool for camping from ozark trail that I've been using for 13 years now. When their products are good they're great.
I just looked at these at the store, and passed at the last minute, despite the cheap price. I've never thrown a prop bait of this type. But I do like the Ozark trail lipless crankbaits. The billed ones I have tried not so much. After seeing this I'm going to have to go back and grab a couple of these. Nice videos!
i love it when they jump into your boat hahaha thank you for letting us watch you fish
I bought one of these today and lost it in a tree on the first cast. Glad I didn’t buy the real one 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
I baught today at Walmart a Berkley Chopo paid over 12 dollars with tax my local Walmart did not have the Ozark trail one but the Berkley one I baught today looks like the Ozark trail one, its the first Chopo I have baught ur video sold me to buy one, Walmart I went to had several other Ozark trail lures
Just came across your channel for the first time, beautiful River, great casting skills and I love the sound of your voice so peaceful and calm it's like fishing with Bob Ross love it! You've got a new subscriber to your channel.
Man you sound like Mr Roger's on a boat. I miss Mr. Roger's from TV. I just got this bait the other day iam fishing in similar conditions I knew it would work seems like it's built pretty strong. I haven't ran I to any major problems yet hopefully it will last for more than just a few fish😂😂
Bob Ross of fishing.
I’ve learned brand doesn’t matter as much as the fisherman itself. I’m not saying go cheap 100% of the time BUT if you can save the money and get the same results ..why not !! Great content
Fish can hear you
Bro is the Bob Ross of fishing. I love it!
Bomber made something like that the rear didn’t swivel
I had the largest jitterbug in black u could buy Iam thinking 3/4 oz it was as big as your hand that that thing would pop and make a wake 3’ across Don’t remember loosing it but it’s gone been gone I never found one that big so I never bought another
He is the Bob Ross of fishing
Got a 4lb Large Mouth today on one of these. Second cast, better luck with this brand the Berkley choppo
I wish more of these videos about specific lures contained how to rig them up, for the newbies out here.
