Just caught my first bass from socal where i live and not out of clear lake 😭
The ponds are probably there to support the sprinklers.
I’m having trouble casting soft plastics and crank baits on my bait caster. Medium heavy power fast action rod and 30lb braid. I’m adjusting my brakes and spool tension but I have no distance or accuracy. I can cast my spinning reels no problem

Hey i was just fishing here yesterday, its a great pond in town stocked with bass. 500 of them i believe so it says on their website. Its a great place to go and hang when you wanna catch a fish with restrooms nearby and water fountains its easy to stay all day!

I don't really know where to go to get the information I'm looking for but is there a reason why all the bass around me won't eat any hard baits? I'm talking jigs, vibrating jigs, crankbaits, really anything. The only thing they really eat is worms and black worms Seems to do really well even in clear water. I'm trying to catch em on anything else but since I know what they'll bite I just throw the worms
