Fishing the JFK Causeway (Corpus Christi TX)

The JFK Causeway is one of my favorite kayak fishing spots when I don’t feel like venturing to far and allows for great wind protection or should I say weather protection when it rains haha. This spot is not a primary Redfish area but I finally caught a real good quality Redfish. This spot has great flounder habitat, shallow shoals and water current flowing over them with slight deep channels feeding through under the bridge.
