Fishing The DWC in Sacramento CA

We hit the water early with the crew, rods loaded and vibes high. The weather was perfect, the current was moving nice, and we were feeling confident. Even though the fish weren’t really biting and most of us got skunked, it was still one of those days you can’t complain about. Laughing, talking trash, and just enjoying being out there together made it worth it.

Right when we thought it wasn’t our day, one of the homies hooked into something solid. After a good fight and some hype on the bank, he landed a clean 20-inch striper. That fish saved the day! Even though most of us didn’t catch anything, moments like that remind you why we keep coming back. It’s not always about limits — it’s about the experience, the memories, and the thrill when that rod finally bends.
