Cool video! My PB largemouth bass (about 21 1/2 inch & roughly 6 pounder) was a prespawn pig caught in 2005 in gin clear water in a Chicago harbor on Lake Michigan on a 1/16 oz. chartreuse & white marabou crappie jig. It was the smallest bait I had on me that day. Finesse can equal TANKS. BTW, the Illinois state record smallmouth was just caught in October on a Ned rig.

Another solid day out there . I have been down to the river by me catching smallies pretty good this last week. Finally 'the water has warmed up enough they are active !!!Went and picked up my new boat last weekend but DMV is closed so cant get ir on the water yet .Also the wind has been crazy here to take out my little Jon boat . Have been a bank angler . They are crushing perch pattern here. Was stuck on the whoke red and craw color in spring and then figured it out . Hope all so well man .
