have you considered or tried stren mono ? i use their 6 and 10 lb with my braid and i've been happy and impressed with it's durability on stuff and a solid snag on the 6 lb takes a surprising amount of pull to break , much much more than SOS 4 lb . i gave the SOS away , i need to try some stren 4lb 😉 . take care Chris .
