Fishing points on Lake Russell

In today’s video, I visit the Allen Creek Boat Ramp on Lake Russell for some late April kayak bass fishing.
The original plan was to fish Lake Blalock, but they were charging $100 for a day pass. Instead, I made the drive down to Lake Russell and focused on fishing points—something I rarely do. While I didn’t catch a lot of fish or anything big, the shaky head helped me land a small limit of bass and even a fun catfish. I had a great time out there!
