When i was a kid i used to see those advertisements in the back of Field and Stream magazines for Amazon Peacock Bass fishing for $1200. I bet it's not that cheap to go anymore but if i had the money i would go anyway in a heart beat. We are going to Florida in August and while the wife and kids are at the beach i am going to go fish canals and try to catch my first Peacock Bass. I have shit loads of big top water chopper style baits like the Devils Horse, Torpedos and some i have carved myself out of broom handles. I want to catch my first Peacock Bass on a lure i made myself. That would make it even more memorable and special.
