It 6:55 was chaotic around here yesterday also, lots of crazy drivers on the road. I walked over to my local bayou in the late afternoon & caught a whole bunch. The bite really picked up at sunset. Merry Christmas!

I had no idea Gretna had a City Park that was fishable. Imma have to try to make my way out there some time and give it a shot. I have tried Bayou Segnette state park and some other spots going towards Laffitte. Over here on the east bank I've been wanting to try Lafreniere park in Metairie, but Jefferson Transit busses can be so unreliable to get me there and back. I'm probably gonna get on that later in the spring.
You ever tried Joe Brown Park in N.O. East when they stock the rainbow trout? That should be happening hopefully next month.
