  1. Hey Lawson, tried one of the weedless 4" varieties of these the other day. Similar experience, lots of great follows and a few hits, and a few catches, but it only lasted about 80 minutes of fishing before it ripped in half. I know the flats I was at have southern puffers everywhere. What's your experience with the durability of these? Should I chalk my experience up to bad luck with puffers?

  2. Maybe you should try A different way to reel in the swim bait. like the bump bump and pause bump bump and pause with A variation of fast medium or slow consistency. Just figured I’d try to help with different ideas. Good luck and keep up the good work I love watching you’re videos hunting down those monster fish and the different strategies and lures you use🎣🎣

  3. I really liked your use of the voiceover here. Man, I can’t get over what a diverse and awesome fishery you’ve got there too. Jealous!! Wonder if these snook hated the smell of that swimbait? Several came up and nosed it, then turned away.

  4. Good ole Wall-O-Death I've lost track of how many BIG ones I've pulled off that wall. I love sight fishing them like that, best part of low winter water. Ferret in the background approves. Swimbaits tend to get a lot of follows but not many takers – I think the straight line action is the problem. Snook are just waiting for the bait to dart off in some direction – but it never happens thus no bite.

  5. You are an excellent angler. Your video quality is amazing. I wish you would spend a little more time explaining your gear, rigging, and location you are fishing.

  6. Big fan of the color purple, for Tarpon. Seems to work well up here around Sebastian. I’ll have to try that bait. I know the fish up here like the live target. Great video!

  7. Nice video. Ive been throwing the 8in version with my buddy in the canals and have gotten followed and hits by multiple fish over 40. We have the same problem skipping under the bridges the hook will pop out from time to time.
