You're not kidding about Saginaw Bay the main target species is Walleye but there are tremendous populations of many, many species but nope. 98% target walleye although the perch population receives a lot of attention during certain times of the year. The crazy thing is everyone knows about the different fish but the eyes are king on that body of water.
That is a great day. I live just south in KY and would love to have a day like that.
