  1. Thanks Randy. Hopefully this will help me on Lake Watauga in E. TN. Very deep lake with steep rock walls. Only fished it a few times since local river levels are down. Tough lake to fish so far.

Traditional doctrine tells us that only the males(perceived to be smaller than females) hang around shallow during the summer but I just caught my pb last week(7 pounder) on my yak right on the bank…he smashed my plopper within 2 feet from the bank, I only got about 3 cranks in and he smashed it. To be honest,I ant ever done to good fishin deep, I'm sure they're down there but I don't even know how to fish for those but Im deadly in the shallows!

  3. I'm in Ontario Canada. Been watchin you for awhile now. But what if there's not creek arms? Lots of our lakes are feed by small creeks you can't get a boat (not even a kayak) up. Where then? Most are caught in about 6 to 8 feet in the thick weeds.
