Also, sometimes you end up getting where you want to go and then finding out when you get there that you don't want to be where you're at, but just remember if you never got there then you'd always be wanting to get there and then you don't know you don't want to be there until you get there, so sometimes you just gotta go where you don't want to go just to know it's not where you want to be.

Yes and the reason is what you said bc you imagine a huge one grabbing it and they do I’ve caught a good amount of nice ones between the 5g-7 1/2 range. So I see you like Dobyns and they make amazing swimbait rods and one good all around one for you to start with would probably be the Dobyns Mike Bucca Bull shad Rod It’s 8’3”.
