What an absolutely GORGEOUS lake! Love to see you get after those trout, they would be a great early spring/ice-out fish when they’re still shallow, they’ll cruise along the edges of shelf ice looking for insects and forage— go get ‘em!

The hits came as you paralleled the shore with long casts—when you went deep and threw at the shore the hits stopped. Later on, you started doing the same thing—that's when the hits began again. The most active fish [in my experience], are shallow, chasing/looking for baitfish, and paying less attention to you [jmo]. Great video. God bless.
