In this video I am targeting some prespawn largemouth around docks. Here on the Chesapeake Bay the docks get used alot by bass and depending on the tide they will utilize the whole dock at times. Of course some docks are better then others and sometimes it takes a few trips out to really figure out a special dock. I like to look for docks this time of the year around spawning flats and areas this fish are moving up to. In this video most of the bass were small males and I was thinking at any time I could come across a bigger female. It just didn’t happen for me today!

I don't buy as many jigs from the various companies as I used to. I prefer to buy my own jig heads, skirts, and rattles and put together my own combinations. Thanks for the video. Mark
When you fish around docks how high up in the water column do you raise your jig? Do you drag it? Or swim it around? Or just raise and let it fall?

Travis what kind of boat you running this year
Good stuff, I use a homemade stand up jig and double tail chompers in 5 inch. I fish some of the same WI lakes you used to fish, did you target docks in WI during the summer? I usually shy away from them because of the clear water.
