So it's strange to me… I see you catch bass that I can hardly fathom exist… Water near me is too cold for river large mouth… We have stocked ponds, but that isn't the same. Our small mouth can get sizable but I've never caught one over 4.5 lbs. But in contrast the catfish you caught was basically an average catfish. The climate you are in is obviously much warmer than mine. I'm curious if there are any Pike, Muskie, or Walleye where you are?
