Fishing for BIG Bass on Pelican Lake in Northern Minnesota!

We hit Pelican Lake in northern Minnesota chasing big bass, and today did not disappoint! We targeted both smallmouth bass on beds and largemouth bass in the shallows, using a mix of finesse and power fishing techniques.

For the smallies, we sight-fished with Ned rigs — and the bedding bass came to play. When we switched gears for largemouth, chatterbaits and swim jigs produced solid strikes around grass and structure.
