Jordan Lake is located in #chathamcounty #northcarolina . It is a man made #reservoir and is known to produce quality #largemouthbass. In practice bass were staging on flats near secondary points leading into spawning pockets. We had a weather system blowing 10-15 mph from the Northeast accompanied with rain.

On Tournament Day (1), water temperatures were 61 to 63 degrees. The #bass still did not pull up to spawn. We searched all day, could not trigger them into biting, and ended up zeroing. On day (2), we made a major adjustment, decided to fish the river targeting bluffs and grass leading into spawning pockets. We ended up catching two for 5.38 lbs. and broke off a 7 plus in a heartbreaking finish! #fishing #bassfishing #lakefishing #trending
