First Stop Of The Year for The Classic Bass Champions Tour on Lake Okoboji IA!
Fishing for $13,000 against some hard hitting Pro Fisherman. I spent a couple days trying to learn this amazing body of water to secure a check throwing a 3/8oz Dirty White Z-Man Chatterbait paired with a white trailer dipped in garlic chartreuse to secure bites amongst many other lures/baits to figure out a pattern. Post practice i decided that the Chatterbait was my best option and it paid off in the first half on West Okoboji ending the first period sitting at 21st place out of 65 boaters. Although the first period went well with more catches than i could add to the video things changed drastically after switching to East Okoboji. I was not able to produce bites over the 2lb minimum on this part of the lake and all fell apart slowly dropping steadily to 43rd place after not scoring a weigh able fish in the second period of the tournament.
