Boltz Lake in Northern Kentucky is a pretty little lake with potential for good fishing (and the occasional cow encounter!). I met my fellow Strictly Sail & Kayak Fishing Team buddy, Chris Anderson, to enjoy a day on our kayaks and see if we could find any big bass. What I learned is that Chris can catch fish on a jig… lots of fish! I caught a couple of small fish but every time I turned around Chris was holding up another jig bass! I’ve noticed that Boltz is oriented so that if you are at the ramp early enough you get a beautiful sunrise sky over the lake!
