Today we are fishing at a public park for bass. Bank fishing at the lake can be difficult, but it can also be rewarding! I start out fishing with a Baby Brush Hog style creature bait. I am fishing it on a Texas Rig with 12 lb test mono. I am also using the $30 Ozark Trail Baitcaster again! Within the first 5 minutes I catch my first bass. Then as I move down the bank, I encounter some boat traffic so I go the other way. I get another nice bass on the line, but lose it in the weeds! Fishing at a public park can be challenging, but bank fishing for bass at a lake is always fun anyway. #realistic #fishing

Watched a Richard Gene video the other day and he cut off the head and arms. He alters his plastics too. Not sure if it was a baby brush hog though. Great vid as usual. Keep it realistic

You got to try fishing the random Bobcat on the floating barge! Thought that would have been good for a bite. Hate when they give you the slip like that one did in the weeds.

It sucks you missed that last one, but hooking that and the other one still counts as a successful outing in my book. It's so much better than not getting any bites at all. A trip like that makes the mosquito bites sort of worth it.

Hey Alex, Great video again. When youre Texas rigged fishing, what line are you using? Mono, Flouro, or braid. I recently got my first baitcaster and am trying to find a type of line to use.

Catches like those help my hope in public places, but it's still hard to keep a good public fishery due to those that trash up and poach the places.
