In that place you was throwing exactly what you needed to. Id slow down the retrieve on the buzzbait though. Maybe try a popping frog over the laydowns and creatures on the twxas rig too. You was throwing things though i catch on in a similar spot here where im at in Alabama. Summer is always slow down everything though lol.
