  1. I bought this hype bait 5 years ago. Pizz painted Yellow perch.Haven’t caught a single bass on it. Had 1 hook up and a couple of follows, I will say it has a great swim but the Klash 9 and Deps 250 outproduce this Hinkle in my local lakes

  2. Solid day Geoff I love that seaguar RT-18 it’s really impressed me over the last 6-8 months I’ve been using it. Tight lines bro, I really want to see you catch a world record man you deserve it.

  3. I got my first glide fish July this year, had it dancing around some big tree stumps and she came outta nowhere and smoked it, missed the hooks, then smoked it again. She wasn't a giant but good lord it gave me a reason to throw bigger baits more often over conventional. 5.2lbs x 20.5" Spro chad shad. I'll definitely keep your tips in mind. Cheers!

  4. Day 3 of asking Geoff to send me a glide! Love the videos man it’s a dream to be able to fish the bass in the bigger states fishing glides in Alabama is hard but when it does happen it’s big 😂have a good week man ✌️

  5. Beautiful lake. Cool way to catch them. They probably see a opportunity to trap the bait tight to the wall. Dont have to chase it. Have you tried any Gamma Floro. Awesome

  6. Geoff, can I possibly get the model description for the Antares reel used in this video? Thank you, after seeing you use that reel in the manner that you did I am very interested to get one. My biggest glides that I currently use are just over 3.5 oz and maybe the reels that I use are overkill. Thanks again

  7. On a hard-fin stabilized glide like the Nessie (Flag knock off), the hard-fins can reduce the hook up ratio. with soft-fin roll-stabilizers, they easily fold out of the way. For a happy medium, I think insertable die-cut PET (same plastic used in disposable water bottles) lateral roll stabilizer fins are going to be the next "big" thing for this cottage industry.

  8. in my experience large hard baits end up with trebles that are too small for their profile. I also think the heavier they are, the more they need to have a Line-Through configuration.

  9. they're using the wall as a trapping point. I like to "double twitch" to keep a glide going in the same direction along a wall or structure.
Question: Geoff, have you ever used a UV reflecting cover coat on your glides?

  10. Do you notice much of a difference between the 18 and 23 Antares? I need a dedicated reel for my 1-4oz Studio composite rod, right now I'm using the Zillion HD1000XH form my frog rod.
