Watch as me and my buddy Dobbie (from Red Boat Fishing on Youtube) catch some of these late summer pressured Iowa bass.
The bite definitely went in waves as we caught fish and then went awhile without a bite. The most consistent bite was fishing brushpiles with crawdad imitating baits. Dobbie even caught fish just casting to the bank with slowly fished baits. I could not get a single bite throwing a moving bait, so perhaps these pressured fish were just hunkered down in the cover!
