The weather has been ROUGH! Found a little break in the cold so my buddy @GunnFishTV and I got out for a 1v1 on a power plant lake. It’s not the easiest body of water to catch big ones, but it’s refreshing to chase aggressive fish in January. I’m trying to keep a running total of bass I catch this year – so far we’re at 18! The first 3 weighed more than the next 15.

I'm surprised that the lake doesn't have a good population of large bass. I fish a cooling lake in Illinois, which you visited in your 50 state tour. I feel like the cooling lakes provide conditions for the bass to grow all year instead of only the warmer months.
