In this episode I’ve got the toy hauler parked in Ocala, FL at my buddy Darin O’Brien’s house. I’m not even settled in yet, but we’re going bass fishing on Lake Norris, a swampy waterway full of snakes, gators and 3,500 year old cypress trees. Darin shows me a new topwater technique that has the big Florida strain largemouth biting.

Hey Robert can you please tell what set up your grey and red reel is with red rod ? Great video
I know this is a slightly older video, but I am just now able to get caught up with your videos, this is awesome and love it! I am 15 years old and can not exactly afford a lot of the products you use or have. This account is actually an account run by myself and 2 of my other friends that are 15 years old. We have an instagram account for fishing as well, @ .bassbrothers. We are just starting out and hoping to grow big, gain sponsorship's, and live on with our strong love for fishing. I am the only one with a kayak. My question is how do you get your sponsorship's, and how could I gain mine? I have talked to a couple of different smaller companies and could was not able to set anything up, we need help. Thank you so much! I love your videos and enjoy all of the awesome, entertaining content.
Didn’t know that. Cool, just got into kayak fishing this last year. I Love it. Wish that I had started a long time ago. Since I have started I have been watching your channel and Chad’s channel as well. Now some of my children also enjoy it. Thank you for the adventures that you post.
Hi Robert, read down below that their family was ok; good to hear. I discovered the Strike King Rage Craw about a year ago and now always have one tied-on. Very good lure and well worth the money. I typically get away with some dark blue/black color and green pumpkin. Lake Norris looks great!
Great video brother! I’m a big RageTail fan and never tried fishing it like that. I definitely will this season! #YouTheManRob!
Hope everyone involved in the accident was ok!
Y’all need to come guntersville Alabama and put a tournament for kayak bass fishing. It would be Phenomenal. Their would be so many anglers it would be ridiculous.
I subed love your vids
Can you tell me what camera mounts you were using?
Were their family members okay?
Another great Field Trip episode, sure hope they turned out to be ok from the car wreck. Thanks to you I’ve gone kayak stealthy. Picked up a Sprinter Van long enough to get my PA 14 inside of it and still sleep in it when I’m at tournaments. Nothing like your rig though. Thanks for doing what you do.
Trey
Love your vids man! If your ever in Portland Oregon again id love to fish with ya! I just uploaded a new sturgeon vid fishing from my kayak . Curious to what you might think ! Anyways big fan man tight lines🤙
It'd be really cool with the decal of the United States of America you have on your trailer if you marked a red X to all the places you've fished. Maybe red sharpie the X and a black sharpie to write the city/body of water/town you fished.
That spot looks prime. Great video Robert
Thank you for the sightseeing. This is definitely a body of water I've been looking. Hoping to live near there this coming winter.
hope everyone is okay, great video once again dude
Got me wanting to catch some bass now brother ! 😂🙏🏽🙌🏽 Good video brother 🎥
You and Chad Hoover need to do a fishing video together
Looking at upgrading kayaks and thinking about spending up to $2000. I mainly fish rivers and streams with maybe up to a class 2 rapids. What do you think about the old town Predator MK?
Not much of a freshwater fisherman, looks fun, and challenging. Great video brother, and I sincerely hope his daughter and grand daughter are okay. The cars replaceable, not a life. Love your shows bro, tight lines never stop!
no problem buddy. I understand thanks anyway.
Gorgeous area, looks protected and pristine. These type of areas are slowly disappearing, thanks for the video and hope the Family is ok.
Hope their daughter in laws and granddaughter is ok. Prayers sent out.
Nothing like top water to get you blood pumping awesome video brother. Hope there family was ok tight lines
I hope everything worked out for the O'Briens.
Great video. I don’t live far from there. Thanks for the info. Hope your friends kid is okay.
Haha that lake is right behind my grandparents ranch! I didn't know there was a cool let in like that. Gotta check it out now.
Sweet episode Robert, beautiful scenery.
A 👍on the Rage Tail products. I've used the Rage Shad, in the Smokey Shad color, with some success, T-rigged on a EWG 5/0 hook, and fished parallel to weedy shorelines. At times I've rigged a 1/8oz – 3/16oz bullet weight on the T-rig to use it sub-surface. Don't forget to seperate the tail from the body where it's slightly connected from the manufacturing process.
Good to hear the ladies in the accident are doing okay.
Another great video man, I think the thing I like most about the RADAR is that it paddles as well as it pedals – or visa – versa, great when in areas like that.
