Tried another new lake today, unfortunately the 5 to 15mph wind was a myth, in actuality it was consistently blowing well above that with many severe gusts. Boat control, cast control and lure presentation were all effected. None the less we made the best of it by staying in the water lillies where the waves at least were diminished. This trip “Spanky” was clealry the lure of choice. We also tried worms, weighted craws and jigs, but the vegitation was too thick for us to work them properly while being blown all over by the wind.
