We discovered one of California’s most unique urban fishing spots — Bishop Ranch Civic Center’s Lake Annabel in San Ramon, California! 🎣
This incredible $300 MILLION development featuring a man-made lake holds some surprisingly big largemouth bass and bluegill. The water was unbelievably clear — we could see 40-50 yards across the lake, making it perfect for sight fishing bass from the bank!
We spotted a largemouth bass cruising only 10 feet from shore and made the perfect cast using a purple Yamamoto Senko worm rigged wacky style. After watching the bass react in crystal clear water, the fish finally committed and we landed it!
Throughout the day we caught multiple largemouth bass and bluegill, explored this amazing San Ramon fishing location, and experienced some of the best urban bass fishing conditions we’ve ever seen.
This proves you don’t always need a boat or a remote lake to catch big bass — sometimes the best fishing spots are hidden right in the city!
