First Swimbait Bass – Okuma Guide Select / Daiwa Lexa 300 / P-Line Flourocarbon / Huddleston

Well, normally I do not release videos “out of order.” Stuff you see, was usually shot over a week ago as my videos are building up. After fishing my first brand new swimbait setup in a tropical storm yesterday and having all that beginners luck, I just had to quickly edit and get this out!

I caught a bunch of 3-4’s and lost a good 7 or 8 pounder.

No music.. no nifty editing.. just fishing.

  1. The 6" hudd is perfect fir anywhere in Americe. Go to 8 out west or down south but the 6 isnt that big but it gets chomped often. New sub here. Just bought a guide select custom black. Was gonba check out your rod. Nice vid.

  2. Hey man really good video it was awesome to watch. Has the issue of your reel popping off repeated? Im thinking of getting this rod but want to know if that happens often or if the reel seat was just loose?

  3. I just picked up a lexa 300 and okuma guide select and noticed an issue with the reel not staying tight and eventually enough to pop loose. Are you still having issues with lexa becoming wobbly and unseated like in video?
