Bass fishing tournament season is finally here. As promised, I’m filming all of it I can for anyone who wants to watch! The first tournament was on Brookville Lake in Indiana. My partner and I caught them really well on a few different baits. Moving baits were a Chatterbait(the new Chatterbait Evo is legit) and some flat sided crankbaits. When it came time to flip, we kept it simple with a brush hog. The weather conditions were pretty brutal for this tournament. Wind blowing over 20 mph, and a below freezing start to the day. The bass did not seem to mind at all though. We culled multiple bass up to a very respectable 13.83 pounds and ended in 4th place, just one spot out of the money. We knew we needed one more big bite to do really well. We are both very happy with how the first tournament of the year went and look forward to fishing more and filming for all of you.
