Springtime bass fishing at Lake Berryessa in Northern California, just a few hours from the San Francisco Bay, offers some of the best bass fishing in the country! On this day, I was chasing bites with a 9″ Berkley Nessie and found a couple, but ultimately, the real pattern turned out to be none other than the dropshot!
