Finding Big Bass in Hydrilla l Stop #6 l Electric Only Tournament (SlayNation)

Whatsup everyone,

Tourney 6 for Slay Nation Tournament fishing (Small Vessel Series 2023) is in the books.

Overall, I cannot complain with the results and a 2nd place finish. The day started with an amazing morning bite followed by a tough slow bite. I felt lucky to have found fish early in the morning as the rest of the day was a struggle. I’ll definitely revisit this lake in the future as It has great potential to produce big bags. Maybe we can land a double digit out there some day.

The name of the lake that was fished is called lake Toho or Lake Tohopekaliga located in Kissimmee Florida.

Baits Used:
I caught a majority of the fish on a swim jig and as the bite got slower, I picked up one on the Texas rig.

BAITS USED: Two main Rigs for the day
– 1/2 oz. Booyah Swim Jig with a 4″ Devine 6th sense paddle tail swimbait (ghost minnow) .w/ 50lbs Braid.

– As for the fish caught on Texas-rig, I used 17lb Flouro with a googan watermelon red flake bandito bug.

The other 7 rods I brought were apparently for show. lol.

If you have any other questions about my setup let me know!

Hope you guys enjoy the content! Be on the lookout for future fishing videos as well as Tournament Vids!
