One question that I get asked a lot is how to find bass when the winter drawdown starts. For some of you, you’ve probably never had to deal with this because the lake or river you fish may stay the same level year round, but many reservoirs in the south will drop anywhere from a couple feet to as many as 30 to 40 feet during the winter for flood control. In this video I’ll show you a sure fire way to catch bass when the lake starts falling, and give you some tips on what to look for. Thanks for watching!

Excellent video! Thank you for showing these tips. Was out last week on Thursday and seen your rig. Been getting them on a baby bass senko and a Spinnerbait but I know there is a better deal out there. The lake is awesome. I’m brand new to it. Thanks again!
You didn't explain one bit on how or what to do during a drawdown poor video
New sub, great info, and great presentation! Keep up the good work! You had me on "jig" 😁
Glad to see this channel and looking forward to what's to come. You should come up to Lake Cumberland and shoot some winter content.. Enjoyed the video, good job!
How about doing the same thing right now on center hill.
Great video,This is to the guy talking about wackin the fish in the nose,I agree we need to take care of our fish. But it's much easier popping it out versus twisting it out.Better on the fish
Great video very informative. Do small ponds also draw down and what's your advice on how to catch fish in ponds during the winter. Thanks!
Love this channel
Just subscribed and really like your instructional content. Great video thanks. 👍🏼
Sweet as always learning from your videos !
This was in my recommended. Congratulations man. I've been slaying on a jig, but I can't set the hook with a bottom bait using a baitcaster to save my life. I'm sitting in a kayak. Maybe that's why, but either way I'm switching to a Medium Heavy spinning setup for my 1/2 oz. jigs. Period. Nice video man. 👍👍
Great tip, get out there!
This was A great video 👍👍
Great video! Can I ask why you chose the jig first over a moving bait? Im a beginner and have heard when the water temp gets like low 50's to switch to spinners or cranks instead of bottom baits
They started our drawdown 3 weeks ago. Already about 8ft below full pool..
I love a jig bite. If I can keep one in my hand all day I will! Nothing like that THUMP.. good video
I'm using a heavy fast tip spinning set-up for my jigs for flippin and pitchin, I went to that because I was having issues setting up my baitcaster , will that cause a problem by me using a spinning set-up, GREAT VID.
I love Tim's in the winter the water low helps me more than at summer pool catch way more smallmouth I'm heading there tom.
Keep these coming…really enjoying them!
Another awesome video! Keep them coming. Love the inside
Man the drawdown has been my nemesis! I have fish opens exclusively during the fall to get better at it. It’s a huge learning curve when you fish against angler and there momma in those events which you know during those events, I appreciate this video it’s something I recently picked up on and can relate to during the fall drawdowns that can flat out catch em. 🤘🤘
It is getting cold quick here in Tennessee but they are chasing fish
Invest in a hook removal tool or needle nose. Whacking them is brutal and destructive my friend. I am not a tree "hugger" by any stretch but take care of our resource please.
Great Video. What separates the Mustad rods from the others. How do you like them?
Why did you switch trailers from the chunk to the craw? Is there a difference to how you fish those two trailers?
Love your videos, lots of information to learn from! Thanks for sharing!
