Fighting for a Check! | Florida Bass Nation Championship

Day 2 of the Florida Bass Nation Kayak Series Championship on Lake Seminole was all or nothing.

After a tough first day, I knew I needed a big day to make a move. I went into the morning looking for quality fish and decided to switch things up and fish the bank. I found a productive stretch of hydrilla and quickly put together a limit on a wacky-rigged stick bait. From there, I continued to work the area and managed to make a few culls before hitting a pad field in the afternoon, where I caught two more solid fish.

I ended the day with 86.25 inches and moved up to 5th place, finishing the two-day championship with 164.50 inches.

I wish I would have figured out this pattern sooner, but that’s tournament fishing!
