Bass Fishing February 9th, 2026 on St. John’s River. I fished some new areas on South end of Lake Monroe and I did not get 1 bite. Just saw a bunch of dead Tilapia and water did not look very good. Bite was okay in the creeks, no big bass though. Water temp was 57 degrees. Caught a few fish on weightless Junebug curly tail worm with 5/0 offset worm hook. Rest of the fish were caught on wacky rigged 5′” senko in nunebug color.
