False Albacore, Sea Bass, Ling NJ Fishing in late August

Fishing on our 18′ Parker out of Shark River Inlet NJ. As soon as we broke the inlet we saw birds working on False Albacore (little tunny). Chased them for an hour, got a few to bite, they are very spooky/finicky fish. Then went 6 miles off to some rock piles and jigged up some Black Sea Bass and Ling on the same metal jigs (links below) as we were casting for the Albies. We use very light tackle, 6 – 12 lb class spinning rods, 2500 reels and 20 lb braid. My son Brendan on the camera actually used 4 lb mono for some of the trip.
