Fall Frog Fishing for Bass at Puddingstone Lake (1st frog fish!!)

Was finally able to land my first frog fish after missing quite a few a couple of weeks prior. Walmart’s Ozark Trail “Poppin Frog” did the trick. I added some belly details to the lure using a sharpie (a customization tip I got from @DEBOSFishing ) to give it a different look. 1st bass 3lbs, 2nd bass 2.35 lbs

Reel: Shimano Cardiff 300
Rod: 8’ Shimano Clarus MH
Lure: Ozark Trail “Poppin Frog”; DIY popper made from wine cork.

  1. Bro, great catches but please don't let the fish hit the ground, it scrapes off the layer of slime that is important to their survival. They are more susceptible to disease and other illnesses when their outside immune system is compromised. Thanks brother.
